The "General" category allows the user to define the primary role of the computer, as follow:
Display EVEREST in the Control Panel
This option enables displaying EVEREST icon in Windows Control Panel, hence it enables launching EVEREST from Control Panel.
Computer primary role
This option controls diagnostics messages (Problems & Suggestions):

| · | "3D Gaming" mode allows Everest to display diagnostic warnings when the computer is not powerful enough to handle processor intensive applications such as 3D accelerated games

| · | "Server" mode allows Everest to display diagnostic warnings when the computer is not configured properly or not powerful enough for server applications
